Create a Book Launch Page
Every debut novel should have a launch page - a one-stop shop where readers can find out about your upcoming book, and sign up to be notified when it is available.
This video will walk you through setting one up using MailChimp's free tool, and show you examples of both a basic and complex launch page.
Building a launch page on your website is preferable over using a third-party like MailChimp - not only will you increase the visitor numbers to your website (increasing your website’s credibility and SEO) but you’ll also have a chance to capture them in your Facebook pixel, if you have one set up. Also, MailChimp’s tool… while free and quick, is a little cumbersome and clunky in areas. I built my book’s launch page using Squarespace in half the time, and am much happier with how it looks and performs.
